How you can get involved:
Harvest volunteers
Harvesting parties bring people together to pick fruit that might otherwise go to waste. This fruit is then delivered to local food banks and hunger relief programs. These events are a fun and easy way to get involved with SETP! Our harvest season begins in late June and ends in early November. Join us at our harvest events, contact us, or use the form on this page register to volunteer.
Harvest leaders
Harvest leaders lead or co-lead harvesting parties. We provide all the necessary training, materials, and support. You would be expected to commit to co-lead at least one harvest party between early July and early November. Not sure if you’re ready? Join a gleaning mob and test it out!
Tree Scouting
Tree scouts volunteer in their own neighborhoods to register productive and underutilized fruit trees. This is a fun opportunity to serve as a vital liaison between SETP and fruit tree owners in your area!
Education & Outreach
Do you want to promote our mission? Are you a good teacher? Blog writer? Event planner? We want you to come be involved with us! We need volunteers to lead workshops and get the word out!
Join a committee
Are you interested in development, volunteer recruitment, or event planning? Join one of our active committees working hard behind the scenes to keep SETP going strong! These committees meet about once a month.
